What is an Error Exorcism?: 

An Error Exorcism is a professional editing and proofreading service designed to cleanse your writing of errors, enhance clarity, and improve phrasing to make your text shine.

How It Works: 

The client sends their manuscript or document to The Error Exorcist in Google Docs. The document will then be carefully reviewed, edited and combed for errors. All changes will be made in "Suggesting" mode. The "Suggesting" mode in Google Docs causes all edits to appear as marks on the page (strikethroughs, underlines, and highlights), as well as notes along the margin. The client will then manually accept, apply, or choose to ignore each suggestion. This gives the client the last say by letting them review the suggestions, and to use or discard all edits as they see fit. 

What The Error Exorcist Focuses On:

Error Detection: The Error Exorcist meticulously reviews your document to identify and correct errors such as typos, grammar mistakes, punctuation issues, and spelling slips.

Clarity Improvement: Beyond fixing errors, the editor will assess your writing for clarity problems, such as sentences or phrases that might feel awkward, overly verbose, not descriptive enough, or confusing to readers.

Phrasing Enhancement: When appropriate, the editor suggests better phrasing options to elevate the style, tone, and flow of your writing, ensuring your message comes across powerfully and smoothly.

How Much Does It Cost?: 

There is a minimum of $20 for documents containing 1,000 words or less. 

Anything over 1,000 words is calculated at 2 cents per word.
